ودّع تشافي هرنانديز ناديه برشلونة الأحد، بفوز على مضيفه إشبيلية 2-1 في مباراته الأخيرة بعد إعلان النادي إقالته، وذلك في ختام المرحلة 38 الأخيرة من الدوري الإسباني لكرة القدم. وأقال برشلونة مدربه الجمعة بعدما فشل في الفوز بأي لقب هذا الموسم، مكتفيا بالمركز الثاني خلف الغريم ريال مدريد البطل.
وقال تشافي عشية المباراة إنه يترك النادي الكاتالوني "مرتاح الضمير".
وفاز برشلونة بقيادة تشافي بلقب الدوري الموسم الماضي، لكنه لم يتمكن من الدفاع عن اللقب في الموسم الحالي أمام غريمه التاريخي ريال مدريد.
وخرج الفريق من ربع نهائي دوري أبطال أوروبا على يد باريس سان جرمان الفرنسي (خسر 4-6 بإجمالي المباراتين)، وخسر نهائي الكأس السوبر الإسبانية أمام ريال، بينما أطاح به أتلتيك بلباو من ربع نهائي كأس الملك.
ولم يعلن برشلونة عن هوية المدرب الجديد، لكن أسهم الألماني هانز فليك مدرب "دي مانشافت" وبايرن ميونيخ السابق في خلافة تشافي تبدو مرتفعة، وسجّل البولندي روبرت ليفاندوفسكي (15) وفيرمين لوبيس (59) لبرشلونة والمغربي يوسف النصيري (31) لإشبيلية.
ورفع برشلونة رصيده إلى 85 نقطة في المركز الثاني، فيما بقي إشبيلية الذي قدم موسما ضعيفا، في المركز الرابع عشر بـ41 نقطة، ما دفع بعض مشجعي الفريق للاحتجاج على مجلس الإدارة قبل المباراة، فارتدوا ملابس سوداء ودخلوا المباراة بعد 10 دقائق من صافرة البداية.
وأثنى الحارس الألماني مارك أندري تير شتيغن على مدربه تشافي قائلا لشبكة "دازون": "أولا، كمحترف، لقد أعطانا الكثير، لقد عمل كل يوم حتى نتمكن من النجاح".
وتابع "نشكره كثيرا على وقته. نتمنى له الأفضل. على المستوى الشخصي، كان صديقا لسنوات عديدة وليس من السهل أبدا رؤيته يرحل".
